Calvary Chapel going the way of Warren

Calvary Chapels have been on a steady decline since the nineties. I was part of a Calvary Chapel and could not figure out why the pastor lorded over the sheep as he did. Now, I know that pastoral leadership (taken by some pastors as total dictatorship) is what Calvary Chapels taught rather than Biblical eldership as is in the book of Acts. I warned my former pastor that Calvary Chapel was crumbling from the top down, and he refused to hear me. Apparently, women are considered stupid and unable to discern anything by certain Calvary Chapel beliefs or it could just be the pastors. But God's word clearly states that He would pour out His Spirit on ALL flesh, and that included women. It saddens me to put this on here, but I am called to expose the works of darkness and warn believers of wolves in sheep's clothing. I don't believe ALL Calvary Chapels are this way, but many are and I believe many more will follow if the leadership does not become more like the Bereans.

I am writing to warn you of the anti-Trinitarian- -and hence anti-Christian- - doctrines being promoted by Ronald L. Dart, through his Born To Win radio program which will be airing over WCHR 920 AM. Dart unequivocally teaches and promotes many of the doctrines of the late Herbert W. Armstrong

Dart sad to say, is an ex Baptist who attended a Christian college to study for the ministry.In 1958 he decided to join Herbert W. Armstrong's Radio Church Of God, which later became known as The Worldwide Church Of God. He left in 1978 when Armstrong expelled his son Garner Ted, and founded The Church Of God International. http://www.thejournal.org/archives/cgtimln2.html Dart left in 1995 to start Christian Educational Ministries. It is very difficult to know when listening to Dart's Born To Win radio program that his teachings are very different from orthodox evangelical Christianity. These he introduces later in his literature, tapes, and other Armstrong splinter groups' websites. Here's an example:

Example: tape 9121 Can Man Become God? favorably quotes Herbert W. Armstrong five times, makes a clear connection between his theology and that of Armstrong. The teaching that God is a family- -not a Trinity - -and that one is "born again" at the resurrection, when one is changed from flesh to spirit, from human to divine (god), were taught by Armstrong. Hell is made a joke in the presentation, as well as Dart characterizing the orthodox view of the believers' position as being a "spiritual lapdog". Much more observations could be made concerning this and other tapes by Dart. I remember listening to one tape from Dart's ministry by a Steve Sanders. Mr Sanders stated that "Jesus was someone who came to earth as man, and then returned to his 'pre-human' form to become very God". Notice this statement very carefully! "Pre-human form, become very God" Tape 99LTS, I Love To Tell The Story.

Many Christian stations are realizing that Ronald L Dart is not orthodox. His program has been cancelled from over twenty Christian stations, and rightfully so.

My concern is that by airing programs of organizations, when examined more closely are actually unorthodox, people are deceived. This deception is enhanced when programs to promote their ministry are placed among well-known evangelical ministers and ministries.

To respond in detail to all of Dart's unorthodox teachings would be too lenghty. I hope what I have said will be helpful to you.

There is a relationship of trust between Christians and Christian radio stations that the programs they air are produced by groups that at least meet the basic criteria of orthodoxy. Otherwise, we will soon have more Armstrong groups, Jehovah's Witnesses, and other unorthodox organizations using Christian stations to draw unsuspecting listeners into their folds.

I pray you will do what's right, before many may be misled.

Vince was a leader in The Way International, who was under consideration to replace Victor Paul Wierwille as president after Wierwille's death.

Who Cares, I don't Think Joyce Meyer's Ministry Does

Dear Joyce,

I sent this email of concern a month or so ago, and never heard back from you or your ministry. I was wondering if those who work for your ministry have to be in agreement with the ministries doctrinal statement.? If so, I wonder how one can, and at the same time be a leader at a church that denies the deity of our Lord Jesus, and the Holy Trinity?

Sometime ago I contacted Joyce Meyer ministries about a individual who is on the staff in the video/TV section. I realize Meyer has some unorthodox teachings, but her doctrinal statement does affirm the doctrine of the Trinity. You would assume that each person employed by a Christian ministry would be in agreement with the doctrinal statement. Here's my concern:

The problem I have is this church is an anti-deity of Christ, anti-Trinitarian, anti-hell organization. On their resources page you will notice Spirit and Truth Fellowship International. This is the largest Way International off-shoot in the World. Notice their statement of faith is similar to Center Point Church. http://www.stfonline.org/about/beliefs.htm

Why is Tom Boicourt a leader in this anti-deity of Christ church, and employed with Joyce Meyer?

Our brother in Dallas is hard at work informing ministries of the anti-trinitarian false doctrine. Here are some letters written to ministries by this brother.

I noticed that OVBC is a sponsor at the upcoming Light At The Lighthouse Christian Music Festival to be held in Sept. I am sending you my letter of warning I sent to Bill and Gayle Fleury concerning one of the Foundational Sponsors, Christian Family Fellowship. CFF is one of the many off-shoots of the anti-deity of Christ, anti-Trinitarian Way International, whose founder Victor Paul Wierwille wrote Jesus Christ Is Not God. CFF has confused many Christians, just as other Way International off-shoots have. Here's just one example:
Xulon Christian Press, which is owned by Salem, pulled one of their books they published after they were informed that the author Mr. Keith Daniels was a former member of the Way. His book Worshipping The One True God is full of attacks on the deity of Christ, and the Holy Trinity. He even quotes from Victor Paul Wierwille's book. I am writing to warn you of the anti-deity of Christ, anti-Trinitarian doctrines of Christian Family Fellowship (CFF), who are planning to have a prayer booth, along with some of their members handing out their literature at the upcoming Light at the Lighthouse Christian Music Festival, September 19, 2009 at Point Fermin Park. It is very important to realize that CFF is an offshoot of the Way International founded by the late Victor Paul Wierwille. He also was no friend of the Christian faith as is evident from his book Jesus Christ Is Not God.

My concern as a fellow Christian is that Christians who are approached and handed CFF literature, even encouraged to attend their fellowship meetings, may get the impression that CFF is an evangelical orthodox ministry. It is not until one really looks into their teachings that the real story is told. Often, CFF presents their teachings so skillfully, that the person is sold on these beliefs before he or she realizes it. Therefore, they are even more vulnerable to being hooked into this organization because they have their guard down.

The Jesus of CFF is not the Jesus of Holy Scripture, the Early Church, nor the Christian Church today. Their denial of the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Trinity is considered heresy by historic Christianity--and for good reason!

Please don't be misled by CFF's unorthodoxy.
