Trinity Comparison
Please know that this list is not all there is to the Triune God of the Bible. My purpose in doing this is to show
the validity of the Trinity doctrine and the diety of Jesus Christ with purely Scriptural foundations.

For there are three who bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word [Jesus], and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. (1 John 5:8 NKJV).
Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. (John 3:11 NKJV)
God the Father Jesus the Son The Holy Spirit
-In the beginning God Created the heavens and the earth. ~Gen. 1:1 -In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. ~John 1:1-2 -The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. ~Gen. 1:2
-Thus says the Lord, King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: 'I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God... ~Is. 44:6

-I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. ~Rev. 1:8

-Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. ~Rev. 1:11

-I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. ~Rev. 22:13

I cannot find a "first/last, beginning/end, Alpha/Omega" reference to the Holy Spirit but Jesus did say,
-To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." ~Rev. 3:21-22

Since Jesus is talking here, you can figure out that He is saying that the Spirit and He are one because He says, "hear what the Spirit says" rather than "hear what I say."

-For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. ~Malachi 3:6

But thou [art] the same, and thy years shall have no end. ~Psalm 102:27

-Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. ~Hebrews 13:8 -But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. ~Gal. 5:22

This demonstrates the consistency, faithfulness, and steadfastness that is found in God. The Holy Spirit (or Ghost) is the same Spirit that is in Jesus and comes forth from God. The other Scriptures given on this page should clearly demonstrate that.

-Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom [is] a right sceptre. ~Psalm 45:6

-But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom. ~Hebrews 1:8

-like cattle that go down to the plain, they were given rest by the Spirit of the LORD. This is how you guided your people to make for yourself a glorious name. Look down from heaven and see from your lofty throne, holy and glorious. Where are your zeal and your might? Your tenderness and compassion are withheld from us. ~Isaiah 63:14-15
-The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. ~Luke 1:35 -Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. ~Matthew 1:23

-For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ~Isaiah 9:6

-And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshdow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. ~Luke 1:35

-But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. ~Matthew 1:20

-Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.' ~Ex. 3:14 -Jesus said unto them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." ~John 8:58 I could not find a reference to the Holy Spirit as the "I AM". Jesus said the Holy Spirit would always point to Him, but since the other Scriptures on this page point to the fact that the Holy Spirit is an equal person in the Godhead, you can, by faith, believe He is also "I AM."

-But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. ~John 16:13-15

-the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. ~Deut. 4:39; Mk. 12:32

-But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. ~1 Kings 8:27

-Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. ~1 Cor. 12:3

-The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

-And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." ~Matt. 3:17
-And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. ~John 17:5

-And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. ~Acts 2:2-4
